A native kind of rambutan to Sri Lanka is called Malwana Rambutan. The globular red fruits are extremely juicy and tasty. It weighs 20 to 35 grammes on average and has a three-day minimum shelf life. Fruits like the lychee, mamoncillo, and longan are relatives of the rambutan. It is primarily consumed in such places. In the nation, eating and seeing are still uncommon occurrences. The peel is covered in lumps that seem like curved, reddish hair but are actually modified spines. It is lovely, little, oval, and somewhat reminiscent of grape pulp.
