A tropical fruit tree with its origins in Papua is called Pometia Pinnata. Fiji longan, Taun Tree, Island Lychee, Tava, and Pacific Lychee are some of its more well-known names. They were given this name because the fruit’s skin colour remained green when it was fully mature. The fruit is edible, resembles litchi, and is a well-liked fruit. Fruit pulp is translucent, delicate, and squishy. It has a flavour all its own, resembling a blend of lichee or longan with a dash of durian.

Vitamins E and C are abundant in it. It is good for the skin and healthful. The antioxidant properties of the Matoa fruit’s vitamin C can help to release radicals that harm the immune system. The vitamin E in matoa fruit may also lessen the incidence of coronary heart disease and cancer as well as reduce stress, boost fertility, and increase stamina. By preserving and enhancing the hydration and flexibility of the skin, vitamin E found in Matoa fruits is also crucial for maintaining healthy skin.
