A little, attractive, layered ornamental tree or shrub is called a meiogyne cylindrocarpa. It is a tiny tree belonging to the Annonaceae family that is also known as fingersop. Borneo, Java, the Marianas, New Guinea, the Philippines, the Northern Territory, Queensland, Vanuatu, and Western Australia are its native habitats. It is referred to as “paipai” in the Chamorro language. The fruit has a long, roughly cylinder-shaped form. It typically has a length of 1-3 inches (2.5–7.6 cm) and turns red to orange when ripe; it is green when unripe. The name “fingersop” refers to its resemblance to a finger. According to reports, the flavour is sweet and has been likened to a floral sapodilla.
