A type of tree belonging to the Annonaceae family is called Annona Ubatubensis. IUCN has them on its list of near endangered species. Only the semideciduous Atlantic coastal forest in southern Brazil is home to Annona ubatubensis, a species that is only found in Brazil. It is one of the coldest hardy Annona and will grow well in warm temperate and most tropical areas. It is a little, extremely rare tree with simple, oblong leaves and tiny, cream-colored blooms. Small, yellowish to orange fruits with a rough surface and pale translucent, edible, and pleasant flesh, like Cherimoyas, follow.
