A fascinating, sweet, and stunning jaboticaba species called White Honey can reach heights of two to three metres. The Mata Zone is its natural habitat. It is typically farmed by fruit collectors in tiny orchards. With a thick skin, the subglobal fruits ripened to a yellow-green colour. The pulp is luscious and has a honey-like sweetness to it. Typically consumed uncooked, the fruits are also occasionally used to make jams and jellies.
