Tiger Grape Live Plant (Kadsura Coccinea)

Tiger Grape, also known as Kadsura Coccinea, is a woody-stemmed, evergreen climbing plant that is indigenous to Southeast Asia, including Southern China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. For use locally as food and medicinal, the herb is gathered from the wild.

The 6 to 10 cm or larger aggregate fruit, which ranges in colour from crimson to deep purple and is made up of 50 to 60 individual fruits, can be any size.

The fruit has a lovely sweet flavour and can be consumed raw or cooked. Both monoecious and dioecious plants exist. When growing dioecious plants, it is preferable to develop at least two or three plants because both the male and female forms must be grown if fruit and seed are desired.

Because it contains a lot of minerals and amino acids, it is a special health food that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat rheumatoid arthritis and gastrointestinal issues. It is also beneficial for overall health, especially for women and elderly people. It helps young people live longer and the elderly maintain healthy skin.
