Tai Red Chamba Live Plants (Syzygium samarangense)

 

 

One of the newest hybrid varieties, it originated in Thailand and has now spread to India. These are large, resembling cashew apples, and they are dark red in colour. Very pleasant flavour and seedlessness. Ripe water apples have a wide range of culinary applications since they add a delectable flavour to salads, drinks, smoothies, ice creams, and preserves.

Planting and Care

The water apple is suited only to low altitudes in the tropics and areas where there is rainfall fairly well spaced throughout the year.
