The best-tasting Green Sapote variation is Red Faisan. It is a medium-sized tropical to subtropical fruit tree that is native to Guatemala and Costa Rica and has juvenile branches covered in brown hairs. They are renowned for having smooth, lance-shaped edges. Mamey Sapote’s close relative is the Green Sapote.
The fruit is round to ovoid in shape, with flesh that is reddish pink, luscious, and creamy and has a flavour all its own that is reminiscent of Mamey sapote.
Green sapote comes in a wide range of variations. The fruit’s skin is tough and has a brownish green tint.
Vitamin A, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium are all abundant in green squash.
