A rare, quick-growing deciduous tree belonging to the Annonaceae family is called the Red Araticum. Brazil’s semi-deciduous forests are home to it. It can grow up to 10 metres tall, and the edible fruit is the major reason for harvesting it. The fruit and flesh of the Red Araticum are red in colour and have a smooth, succulent, aromatic, custardy, and sweet flavour.
