The Malaysian region of Sarawak is where the School Boy plant, also known as Anak Sekola, is grown to a significant extent. The hairs still have their natural green hue throughout, but the rind is a rich red tint. The post-harvest shelf life is 3–4 days, and the sweetness level is 21 Brix. The abundant bearing makes up for the fruit’s relatively tiny size.
