The cawesh or poshe-te, Annona scleroderma, is a species of tree found in Central America, mainly in South Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. It is well-known for its flavorful, fragrant fruit, which is best enjoyed raw and straight from the tree. The fruit’s creamy-colored flesh has a delicate texture and a creamy banana-pineapple flavour. Known to be one of Annona’s most tasty and energising offerings.
