One of the most intriguing and delicious plants in the Myrtaceae family is Eugenia aff. Glandulosa. Taste recalls an orange flavour with a sweet/acidic Uvaia flavour. The tree can grow up to 7 to 11 metres tall in its natural environment (3-4 m in cultivation). Due to the tree’s profusion of flowers, it is exceedingly ornamental. It can be grown in subtropical and tropical climes, in fertile soils with good drainage, that is only a little bit damp.
