A member of the moracea family, Pseudolmedia oxyphyllaria Donn is an evergreen tree. It is indigenous to the Pacific slope from Michoacán to Chiapas and the Gulf slope from north of Puebla and Veracruz to south of the Yucatán. Fruit is sometimes valued highly as a meal supplement due to its excellent, pleasant taste. Their primary output is wood, which is generally utilised in the construction of dwellings. Use tools and equipment for farming for harvesting mangoes. Its fruit and wood are highly prized in the Tlapacoyan region.
