NEEM CAKE

Neem cake organic manure is a by-product of the solvent extraction procedure for neem oil cake and the cold pressing of neem tree fruits and kernels. In accordance with Bureau of Indian Standards Specification No. 8558, it is a potential source of organic manure. Neem has shown to have a lot of potential as a fertiliser. Neem cake and neem leaves are very promising for this purpose. Due to its lingering limonoid concentration, neem cake organic manure shields plant roots from nematodes, soil grubs, and termites. It has pesticidal qualities and serves as a natural fertiliser as well. In India, neem cake is frequently used to fertilise sugarcane, cotton, and rice. Neem seed cake can also lower soil alkalinity because, when it decomposes, it releases organic acids.

It ensures soil fertility because it is completely natural and compatible with rhizosphere microflora and soil bacteria. For enhanced root development, neem cake increases the soil’s organic matter content, soil texture, water-holding capacity, and soil aeration.
