The Mentawa /Artocarpus Anisophyllus fruit is also called the Entawak Fruit or Bintawa Fruit. It usually grows in tropical climates such as Indonesia and is found in Malaysia. It is a distant relative of the jack fruit.

It has a round, brown yellow fruit with orange-red flesh that said have an excellent flavor that is very intense and sweet like squash or pumpkin while it also has edible seeds which are commonly roasted, salted, and eaten.

The fruit contains vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber and its seeds are high in riboflavin and thiamine.
