Lolly Berry/Salacia Chinensis is often a climbing plant, yet it can occasionally transform into a scrambling shrub or even more like a tree. It can get quite tall.
The red, globose to ovate fruit of Salacia Chinensis has a single seed within, and the skin of the fruit separates much like the peel of a litchi, revealing a fleshy, opaque aril that is highly sweet, non-fibrous, and has a taste similar to cotton candy made from watermelon.
