A small to medium-sized tree belonging to the Phyllanthaceae family is called Baccaurea odoratissima. Of all the Baccaureas, this remarkable fruit has red skin that opens to expose flesh that is a vibrant blue colour. It is arguably the best-looking and most colourful Baccaurea. The fruits have a sour-sweet flavour and are about the size of cherries. grows naturally in the rainforests of Borneo, where it is occasionally harvested for market sales. A tropical climate is preferred by the tree for greater growth axils.
