Jabuticaba Melancia is a plant that can be found in the bushes close to the town of Dona Euzébia in the highest parts of the Minas Gerais Zone. It is among the most exquisite-looking varieties of jaboticaba. Because of the skin tone that resembles that of a watermelon, Jabuticaba Melancia is also known as Jabuticaba Watermelon. The fruits with thick skin are extremely delicious and juicy. Typically consumed raw, it can also be processed into jams and jellies.
