Known for its distinctive flavour, the imbe fruit is a tropical fruit that sticks out. Its fruit is small, bright orange, thin-skinned, and edible. The flesh has an apricot-like taste and is both delightfully sweet and somewhat acidic. Fruits can be consumed either raw or cooked in porridge.
