A tropical tree belonging to the ebony and persimmon families is called Diospyros decandra. It produces white flowers. Raw fruit can be consumed. It has a pulpy, sweet, and slightly astringent flavour, especially if it is not fully ripe. A bright yellow berry the size of an orange makes up the globular fruit. When fully grown, it emits a very potent aroma. It is a well-liked tree in Vietnam, where it is grown near temples and in populated regions. The tree’s edible fruit, which is sold in nearby marketplaces, is picked from the wild and also grown in and around settlements. The tree also yields fine wood and has a number of therapeutic purposes.
