The plant species Campomanesia rufa belongs to the Myrtaceae family. It only exists in Brazil. It is a little shrub that rarely grows higher than 3 metres. It is quite decorative, with thick foliage and a gorgeous husky trunk. Honeybees are drawn to its little white blossoms. It yields a lot of fruit with a greenish rind and sweet, transparent, and flavorful pulp. Excellent for ingestion naturally or in juices, jellies, and ice creams.
