When ripe, the rind and hairs are a glossy yellow tint. The shelf life is just a modest two days after harvest due to the somewhat juicy nature of the extremely sweet fruits with a 22–24 degree brix sweetness. The tree is visually beautiful and quite dwarfed when compared to other types.
