Daeng Suriya Live Plants

A semi-spreading tree with a height of 15 to 25 feet, Daeng Suriya. It is one of Thailand’s best-tasting jackfruit varieties. Its reddish-orange aril has a sweet, crisp flavour. The fruit typically weighs between 10 and 15 kilogrammes.

Common name: Jack Fruit, Daeng Suriya,

Blooming time/Fruiting: 3-4 Years

Maintenance required: low

Weight 2.5 kg
Planting and Care

To prevent other plants from competing with your jackfruit tree for nutrients and moisture in the soil, it's important to maintain the soil evenly moist and to routinely weed the area around the tree. Mulch around the tree can aid in both retaining moisture in the soil and suppressing weed growth.

Special Feature

The fruits, leaves, and bark of the jack tree have long been used in traditional medicine due to their anticarcinogenic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, and hypoglycemic effects.

Uses/Benefits

Its edible fruit and seed fruit can be consumed uncooked or prepared in a variety of ways, making it unique. Unripe fruit's carbohydrate-rich pulp is frequently served as a vegetable. Some of the fruit's carbohydrates are converted into sugars when it ripens, making the fruit sweeter.
