Up to 8 metres tall, but typically less than 4 metres, Cordia nodosa is a tiny tree or shrub with an open, umbrella-shaped crown and few branches. At 2 metres tall, it begins to bear fruit. The plant’s edible fruit is harvested from the wild, and locals frequently use it for therapeutic purposes. Fruits range in length from 1 to 2 cm and include a lot of pleasant pulp.
