Cocoplum Fruit Live Plants (Chrysobalanus Icaco)

Tropical Africa, tropical Americas, and the Caribbean are home to the evergreen tree or bush known as the cocoplum fruit (Chrysobalanus icaco). It is often grown as an ornamental shrub due to its attractiveness and manageable size.

The fruit of the coco plum tree, which is white and plum-sized, tastes great. It can be eaten fresh out of hand or used to produce preserves and has a flavour that is somewhat acidic and bittersweet. The plant’s edible seed is rumoured to be a fantastic honey plant. It is relatively bland but has a lot of oil and a nutty flavour. Lipoprotein cholesterol is abundant in cocoplums.
