Figs are a lovely and distinctive fruit that have incredible health advantages. Celeste figs typically mature at a height and spread of 7 to 10 feet and have a compact growth style (2-3 m). They require little maintenance because they are resistant to many pests and diseases, and because they self-fertilize, only one tree is required for fruit production. The tree produces medium-sized fruit with flesh that is brilliant pink and skin that ranges from light brown to purple. Because of how sweet the flesh is, it’s frequently consumed fresh as a fruit dessert. In fact, due to its sweetness, it is sometimes known as “sugar fig.” They may thrive in confined spaces.
