Caimito Fruit Live Plant (Diospyros sp)

The unusual fruit caimito (Diospyros sp.) belongs to the Ebenaceae family. Over 20 species of trees, both domestic and wild, may be found in Colombia. The orange to yellow fruits taste sweet and resemble Chrysophyllums in flavour.
