Fast-growing Liana medicinal plant known as bush grapes belongs to the Menispermaceae family. The species is easily recognised in the forest by its adventitious roots, which are born in the vine’s nodes and develop as if they were ropes extended to the ground, where they form roots, and range in diameter from 0.5 to 1.5 cm. The plant is taken out of the wild and used locally as food and medicinal. From January to March, it bears fruit. Both species feature tasty fresh fruit that is sweet and has a flesh that is viscous and sticky. The fruit of the plant can be used to manufacture liqueur, and it has various medicinal qualities.
