A wild Amazonian tree produces the dried fruit known as Brazil Nuts (Bertholletia Excelsa). It is a hard fruit seed with traits resembling coconuts that is located inside. These nuts are used to bake cakes, cookies, and candies, and they can be consumed raw or roasted.
Brazil nuts are exceptionally nutrient-dense; they have a fat content of around 66%, a protein content of 17%, and a carbohydrate content of 7%. Freshly pressed oil has a pleasant nutty flavour, is a light yellow colour, and is practically odourless. It can be used in place of almond oil.
