An evergreen tree called the bitter kola or garcinia kola is native to West and Central Africa.
Additionally, it functions as a broad anti-infective agent and yields brown, nut-like seeds that resemble kidney beans. Fruits are spherical berries that occasionally have a small flattening. They taste quite bitter and are practically identical to coffee seeds. They also have a little sweetness to them.
Bitter kola contains a wealth of minerals, and the plant is particularly rich in caffeine, fat, protein, calcium, potassium, iron, and vitamin C.
