Low-growing and deciduous Berlandier’s Wolfberry is extremely drought resistant and should be able to withstand frost up to several below freezing. a little-known species of wolfberry that is indigenous to parts of Mexico and the southwest United States. It produces a lot of tiny, red fruits in the summer that resemble goji berries in general look. According to historical accounts, the fruits were used for a variety of reasons by native cultures and are claimed to be edible.
