Myrciaria strigipes is a species of plant in the Myrtaceae family, also known as cambucá da praia or cabeludinha da praia. It is a native of eastern Brazil and is an evergreen shrub or small tree. The tree’s edible fruit is taken from the wild. It yields 22 to 28mm-diameter, edible, golden fruits. The fruit, which is typically eaten raw, has been compared to the flavours of Plinia cauliflora and Myrciaria glazioviana.
