An extremely rare fruit from the annonaceae family is called araticum de cipo. It is one of the incredibly few endemic to Amazonas climbing Annonas in the genus, and fruit is collected in the wild for local consumption. Although the fruit is slightly sour and sweet, it is nevertheless delicious to eat in big numbers, making the plant worthwhile to grow.
