An adorable species of plant from Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela with the name Annona Jahnii belongs to the Annonaceae family. The species was given its official name by American botanist William Edwin Safford in honour of mountain climber, scientist, and explorer Alfredo Jahn of Venezuela. It is a tree with a height of four to six metres. Its membranous, oblong to oval, tapering leaves measure 12.5–18 by 7–10 cm in size. The fruit is covered in thick rust-colored hairs and pyramid-shaped bumps grouped in a spiral pattern. Fruit pulp is edible and has a sweet, pleasant flavour.
